Rabio Lepus Special[]
Stage: Stage 1 (Spaceship); Stage 5 (Demon Palace)
The flying core, resembling a silver airborne version of the Moving Core, is the only boss appearing in Rabio Lepus Special which was not in the original Rabio Lepus. It is the first boss encountered in the game; it floats at the end of the first third of the spaceship level, shooting fireballs.
Two golden flying cores later appear together during the boss rush in Yohmaoh's palace.
