Volk's Kamov Ka-50 Hokum, nicknamed the "Black Shark" in real life, has the honor of being the only playable helicopter in the Sonic Wings series. Pseudo Sky Rascals points out that the game creators had always wanted to include a helicopter in the games.
The Hokum's artillery is powerful, even on its lowest level, and is quite responsive; the line of fire changes when the Hokum shifts to the left or right. Its bomb calls forth several huge wingmen(Tupolev Tu-95MS bombers x4 or Tupolev Tu-160 "White Swan" bombers x3) who drop missiles on the enemy.
