Sonic Wings 2[]
The whale appears after the final boss battle in two-player mode with Arthur and Whity. Arthur's plane is going down in the sea, so Whity calls upon the whale to catch it on his spout. Arthur is saved, and Whity declares that "We can always count on whales."

If the player defeats Pandora or Gurabura with Whity in single-player mode, Whity's plane starts to crash. He lands on the whale's nose then apologizes, calling the whale "Great Shin-chan" in the Japanese version of the games and "Willy the Whale" in Aero Fighters Special.
